Ice Cream Social and Animal Shelter Donations This Saturday
July’s PCDC social event will be held at Main Street Flavors in downtown Luray on Saturday, July 25, 12:00 Noon to 2:00 pm. Donations for the Page County Animal Shelter are appreciated (particularly wet kitten food, as the shelter is currently overloaded with kittens needing homes). Spend a summer afternoon indulging in hand-dipped ice cream with many unique flavors, or a float or shake while supporting a local business and catching up with friends.
PCDC HQ Now Open on Saturdays
The PCDC HQ office in downtown Luray, across from Town Hall, will now be open to the November election on Saturdays, 9:00 am to 1:00 pm; the same hours as the Farmer’s Market next door in the gravel parking lot. Given the critical nature of the Mid-Term elections this year, PCDC visibility is important. In previous weeks, locals (Dems and Independents), out-of-town tourists, and newly minted PCDC Members, have stopped by, thanking us for our presence in rural Virginia. Save the Dates: Page County Fair
The Page County Fair will be occurring August 24 to 29, and PCDC will have a booth. The booth will be staffed in two shifts (in late afternoon and early evening) on Monday, August 24 through Saturday, August 29. The more the merrier in our booth!
