I’m enthusiastic about supporting Kamala Harris because her candidacy feels like a ray of hope breaking through a troubling time.
Recently, many Democrats have been weighed down by Fear, Uncertainty, and Doubt, fearing a resurgence of Trump and MAGA Republicans in the House and Senate. The recent GOP Convention only amplified these concerns, showcasing a chaotic array of unqualified individuals, some convicted or indicted, vying for roles in a potential Trump administration.
It’s become a stark battle between ideals: good versus evil, truth versus falsehoods, democracy versus dictatorship, and secular governance versus religious influence. Vice President Harris has been a leading advocate for reproductive rights and abortion access over the past year. As a former prosecutor, she’s demonstrated a track record of pursuing tax evaders, fraudsters, and other criminals—similar to offenses Trump has faced throughout his career as a serial con artist.
It’s crucial for Democrats to regroup swiftly, find unity, and channel the motivation stirred by these concerns into ensuring her election, alongside other Democratic candidates.
I firmly believe Kamala Harris embodies the best of America across multiple dimensions: championing women’s rights, upholding democratic values, advocating for equality and minority rights, standing for truth and facts, and reinforcing principles of law and order.
From the perspective of the PCDC, while we may need to adjust our branding strategies, our fundamental message and values remain unchanged. Our strategy now focuses on communicating to as many voters as possible the importance of choosing Kamala Harris, Tim Kaine, and Ken Mitchell in November.
I hope the Democratic Party can swiftly coalesce around this strong vice-presidential candidate, completing a ticket that offers the best chance to defeat Trump, MAGA Republicans, and their Project 2025 agenda.
