Midterms Election Activities
Voting Blue No Matter Who is critical to maintain the United States as a Democracy with proper guardrails against a free fall into autocracy and fascism. It’s not hyperbole to say that this truly could be the last fair election in this country. Every day brings us a new nightmare out of this regime. Let’s do this and fire Trump appeaser Ben Cline!

There are several ways Democrats can get involved prior to the November election; one does not need to be a PCDC member to participate.

  1. Canvassing: Canvass for the Mark Warner/Beth Macy ticket. If you are interested in canvassing, please contact either Skip Halpern (skiphalpern@outlook.com) or Mike Mudd (mikemudd777@gmail.com) and indicate the Saturday or Sunday in September and/or October you are available. Boots on the ground are essential to get the vote out. You can canvass solo, or we can pair you up with another volunteer.
  2. Early Voting: We highly encourage you to vote early because who knows what the regime plans for the polling centers on Election Day. You can also volunteer in the PCDC tent: Volunteers will be needed for the PCDC tent during early voting, which begins this Friday, September 18 and ends on October 31.The last two Saturdays (October 24 and 31) and Sundays (October 18 and 25) in October are particularly important. Yes, there will be early voting on two Sundays! We know Republicans will be in their tent. Early voting for Page County occurs at the County Administrator’s building, 103 S. Court Street, in Luray. If you are available and interested in representing rural Democrats during early voting, please contact Mike Mudd.
  3. Staffing the PCDC HQ on Saturdays: The PCDC office is in the heart of downtown Luray, near Town Hall, Main Street Flavors ice cream, Saga Meadery, and the New Page Movie Theater. This is a very visible space with a lot of pedestrian traffic, particularly in the fall. HQ will be open on Saturdays from 9 am to 1 pm, the same time as the Farmer’s Market in the gravel lot next door, until late October. Local folks stop in as well as tourists from all over the country who are pleased Democrats have a presence in such a red region. If you are available to staff the HQ, please contact Pat Petralia (pjp7mail@gmail.com).

Yard and Large Barn Signs for Beth Macy and Mark Warner Now Available
Stop by the PCDC HQ on Saturday morning, 9 am to 1 pm, to pick up your yard sign and frame! Or email PCDC to make arrangements to have a yard sign brought to you. If you have a barn or other structure on your land, adjacent to a busy road or highway, please email us and we can bring a barn sign to you and we’ll even mount it!

Early Voting Kick Off on Friday, September 18, with Coffee & Conversation
The popular weekly Coffee & Conversation meet up will be this Friday at the County Administrator’s building, 103 S. Court Street, in Luray. Be one of the first in line for early voting in this critical election season. Coffee! Donuts! Brownies! (Yes…brownies). See you there at 8:30 am! PS, if you have your own picnic chair, please bring it.
